I don't know how to end really. Today the 'hit-count' for this reached 1,200 from the time when I realised that I could have a hit-count and know what it was. Admittedly the hit count counts hits at the slightest excuse, so only a very tiny number of people are required to make 1,200. Special though each individual is. I'm not sure if it counts spammers, but I'm sure they are special too in their own ways.
But for anyone who is still around, for spamming or otherwise, have you any ideas? What can we do?
If you want to go to Germany, you could take this little part of the digital universe for your own.

1200 hundred is pretty good in seven months if you ask me.
I'm on about 450 hits in four months and about 300 of those are me.

When I remember, I block myself from the counter because it prevents too much misplaced excitement.
I've no doubt that your ambiguous avatar will have increased traffic to your site from the curious in recent times. Failing that, I found that mentioning this to family who would then feel guilty if they hadn't read it worked quite well.

I submitted the essay I told you about. I mentioned this place in it. Not sure if anyone will ever look here as a result of that or, if they did, if they would post a comment. Or if they might seem to have posted a comment, but it was really you pretending to be someone else.

Maybe I ought to go fix my spelling and check no one has written anything inappropriate, just in case.
